Clinic Needs

The clinic is operated on a budget of zero dollars and zero cents. This ministry relies on prayer, volunteers and donations to be “the hands and feet of Jesus”.

Welcomed items include non-perishable food, slightly used clothing/shoes, school supplies, over-the-counter medicine, household cleaning items and personal hygiene products.

VOLUNTEERS: Opportunities exist for volunteers in every portion of the clinic, we especially need advocates to escort each guest through the clinic.

FOOD PANTRY: Peanut butter, canned meats, macaroni and cheese, canned fruit, cereal, spaghetti and sauce.  Remember to check for expiration dates on all items that are donated,

TOILETRY ITEMS: Shampoo, deodorant, tooth brushes, toothpaste, shaving cream, razors, soap, combs and hair brushes.  We send each family home with a bag of these items.

CLOTHES: We will be collecting clothes for men, women and children.  They should be new or gently used.  If gently used, please make sure they are clean.  It would be helpful if they were placed on a hanger but this isn’t required.

BIBLES: We would like to give every family a Bible and or devotion to take home with them.  The need is for English and Spanish Translation as well as children Bibles.

WHEELCHAIRS: We are in need of loaner wheelchairs to be used the day of the clinic. This would help those guests with mobility issues to safely navigate the clinic. If you know of a source, please contact us and we will arrange transportation.

FINANCIAL DONATIONS: Donations may be made to LaGrange Baptist Church with notation designated for The Oldham Clinic.  These donations will be used to buy food to serve that day and for all supplies needed that are not donated.  Our goal would be to have every item needed to be met by donations but there are some items that we will have to purchase.  Any amount of financial help would be appreciated.  A tax exempt letter will be mailed to you for cash donations.
